Key technologies for life detection and search research and equipment development passed acceptance

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On November 17, the Department of Social Development Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Resource Allocation and Management Department organized an expert in Beijing on the "12th Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Program "Research and Development of Key Technologies for Life Detection and Search". The project was accepted. After the expert group questioned and discussed, the project passed acceptance.

At the acceptance meeting, the project's first person in charge, Li Bin, a researcher at Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a technical report on the project. The project's second person in charge and the researcher Shang Hong from China Earthquake Emergency Search and Rescue Center made a financial acceptance report. After questioning and discussion by the expert group, it was unanimously considered that the project had completed the research content of the approval of the project, reached the requirements of the assessment index, and agreed to pass the project acceptance.
The project targets the needs of life detection and search in areas such as seismic search and rescue, field search and rescue, and offshore search and rescue. It has completed research on 6 topics including mobile robotized life detection and search equipment and active portable multi-target life detection radar. The signs of life of intellectual property and 59 sets of search and positioning equipment. The disaster emergency rescue equipment integrated and developed for the first time in China has significantly enhanced the comprehensive capabilities of emergency rescue of natural disasters and social security incidents. The project provides new high-tech equipment for the disaster emergency rescue field in China, and upgrades the technical level of China's emergency rescue equipment.
Shenyang Automation Institute and Xinsong Robotics & Automation Co., Ltd. applied for the “Key Technology Research and Equipment R&D for Life Detection and Search” project in 2012. From application to assembly, to project initiation, implementation, and finalization, a total of 5 year.
