The oxidation reactor is a vertical stirred back-mixed reactor. The stirrer is driven by a motor and is equipped with a two-layer stirring paddle. The upper layer is a six-blade turbine-type stirring paddle, and the lower layer is a four-blade paddle-type paddle, and the blade is inclined at forty-five degrees. The stirrer is made of titanium and the motor power of the stirrer is 1500 kW. The reactor shell is a 65+3mm carbon steel lined titanium composite plate, the main parameter is Φ7600×8600mm, the design pressure is 2MPa, and the design temperature is 252°C.

In the past, domestic PTA oxidation reactors were imported from abroad and belonged to foreign patented equipment. In particular, agitators and gas-liquid distributors were the key technologies. Yizheng's 1 million-tonne/year PTA project will use domestically developed process technology. As far as equipment is concerned, the design unit can provide design conditions. The domestic Nanhua Company Machinery Plant, Xi'an Northwest Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, Nanjing Baoshen Titanium Company, Baoji Non-ferrous metal processing plants can complete the design and manufacture of construction drawings. Most of these companies have experience in manufacturing carbon steel + titanium explosive composite technology and titanium equipment. Difficulties in the manufacture of oxidation reactors are: first, explosion bonding and forming of titanium composite plates, and prevention of separation of the bonding surfaces; second, welding and flaw detection and heat treatment techniques for titanium and composite titanium materials; and third, assembly of large-scale reactors. And test technology; fourth is to have a clean purification plant in order to achieve the purpose of preventing pollution. As for the in-reactor agitators, domestic Lai Ning (China) Mixing Equipment Co., Ltd., Dalian Zuozhu Co., Ltd. and Jinxi Chemicals Factory have a series of design and manufacturing technologies and experience.

Air compressors are generally divided into single-shaft units consisting of single-shaft compressors and multi-shaft units consisting of gear compressors. The single-axis unit consists of a high-pressure air compressor, a low-pressure air compressor, a turboexpander, and a steam turbine. The multi-axis unit consists of a multi-shaft compressor, a turboexpander, and a steam turbine. The main technical parameters of a million-tonnage PTA air compressor are: inlet flow 386976 Nm3/h, outlet pressure 1.975 MPa, design temperature 162°C, shaft power 55,000 kW.

Air compressors for PTA plants, Shenyang Blower Group has mature technology, compared with other air compressors, it is just a change of process parameters. The company's SRR and MCL series of compressors can meet the needs of PTA unit air compressors. The drive turbines can use the existing technology of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Factory. The existing problem is that there is currently no design or manufacturing technology for heavy-duty expansion turbines for sinking drums, and they need to be supplied by other manufacturers. The axial compressor developed and produced by the Shaanxi Blower Group can also meet the requirements of large-scale PTA installations. In addition, the plant also has technologies for designing and manufacturing exhaust gas recovery turbines.

The rotary dryer is divided into an oxidation dryer and a refiner dryer. The function of the rotary dryer is to remove excess acetic acid and moisture from the crude terephthalic acid and purified terephthalic acid cakes fed by the filter. Rotary dryers use steam as the heating medium. The key technology is the design, manufacture, and rotation and sealing of the material and the anti-material paste technology.

The development of sealed steam tube rotary dryers abroad was earlier. The domestic Tianhua Chemical Machinery Research and Design Institute also had its own proprietary technology and years of research and development experience, mastered the engineering amplification technology, established a process model, and improved the process The calculation method forms the proprietary technology of the key components of the dryer, masters the complete set of processing technology, and completes the development of the drying unit equipment. In recent years, the hospital and Nanhua Company Machinery Plant and Jinxi Chemical Machinery Factory once provided rotary dryers with diameters of Φ1800 to Φ3800mm for Yanshan Petrochemical Polyethylene, Yizheng Chemical Fiber PTA Plants, and Luoyang Petrochemical PTA Plants. Φ4000mm The dryer design has been completed. For a million-ton PTA rotary dryer, although there are many difficulties in manufacturing and transportation, domestic design and manufacturing still have a certain basis.
