A British fossil lover accidentally discovered a very rare prehistoric blind spider in an amber. It has been at least 40 million years old.
Collingwood, 37, of Kent, England, saw the spider in a two-pound coin of amber and realized immediately that the discovery was unusual. He then informed the British Museum of Natural History. Museum fossil experts say this discovery is amazing. "The complete blind spider is hard to find." Collingwood has decided to donate this piece of amber to the British Museum of Natural History.
