At the recently held Shanxi Truck Logistics Exhibition, Hualing Xing Kaima, which matched Dongfeng Cummins' ISZ13 LNG card engine, was a debut and attracted the eyes of many industry professionals and users.

The 11-14 litre engine is the core component of large-scale commercial vehicles and engineering equipment, and is also the engine's recognized 'gold displacement', subject to various conditions, which has always been a blank for the research and development of heavy-duty vehicle engines in China. The Dongfeng Cummins ISZ 13-liter project started its research and development in 2005 with an investment of nearly 300 million yuan. It is mainly aimed at the domestic high-end heavy truck market. In emission control, it uses Cummins Emissions Devices (CES)'s selective catalyst reduction technology to fully meet the national IV emission standards. In addition, the forward-looking design also makes it more capable of further upgrading the EU V and US EPA 2010 regulations. It is a sustainable new generation diesel engine platform, which greatly reduces the upgrade cost of vehicle manufacturers.

Similar technological innovations are not uncommon in the ISZ 13-liter range: Fleetguard's maintenance-free respirator reduces the possibility of oil leaks to a greater extent; the integrated cylinder head is more compact and smaller, enhancing Product matchability and applicability; steel piston cooling better and higher strength...
