Thrust Spherical Roller Bearings are similar to Spherical Roller Bearings, with a raceway surface that is spherical and centered on the bearing's axis. These bearings feature spherical rollers, allowing them to self-align and reduce sensitivity to shaft misalignment or deflection.
Product Features
This type of bearing has a high axial load capacity and can handle radial loads as well, provided the radial load does not exceed 55% of the axial load. As long as the load P and P0 do not exceed 0.05C0 and the shaft rotates, the bearing allows for the centering angles listed in the table below. For larger bearings, the allowable angle decreases as the load increases.
These bearings are typically lubricated with oil for general use. Unlike other thrust bearings, they can withstand one-way axial loads and help limit axial displacement. Compared to cylindrical roller thrust bearings, they have a lower speed limit but offer better load capacity and less sliding.
