Investigation on Rape Raising in 2006-2007 in Jinshan District

Recently, the rapeseed planters of each town in our district organized a comprehensive survey of the rapeseed raising situation in Jinshan District in 2006-07. The results are as follows:
The survey received a total of seventeen township group survey materials.
1. The total area of ploughing is 2698.2 acres.
Planting conditions: Rape was actually planted 1,700 mu last year and is expected to grow 1033.2 mu this year, a decrease of 666.8 mu over the previous year, a decrease of 39.2%. The planting area of rapeseed accounts for 38.29% of the total cultivated land, compared with 66.3% last year.
2. The situation of Putian: 140.5 mu of co-cultivation, the ratio of Putian to Datian is 1:7.4, and the previous year was 1:8.5.
3. Variety planting situation: In this year's planting plan, the high-quality rapeseed Huyou 15 is the main planting, with a total of 648.5 acres planted, accounting for 62.8%, slightly lower than the previous year. 297.7 acres of traditional varieties, accounting for 28.8%. The other species is 87 acres, accounting for 8.4%.
4. Emergence: During this year's childbirth, the weather continued to dry and the temperature was higher than in previous years. The emergence was more difficult and the growth was inconsistent. The growth was slow. This year's survey was 31.2 per square foot, similar to last year.
Based on the above survey results, we can roughly draw the following conclusions:
1. As a result of the adjustment of the planting structure and the expansion of the scale of planting area, the planting area of rapeseed has been greatly reduced this year. However, it will account for nearly 40% of the total arable land, and it will still play a decisive role in the summer crops.
2. The area of Putian is slightly tight, coupled with the unsatisfactory seedling situation, and the current growth is slow. This year, there is a possibility of lack of seedlings. In response to this situation, it is required that the majority of farmers take active measures to grow the seedlings in batches. The seedlings are transplanted first, and the seedlings are left to be cultivated and then moved; the remaining crops are spared between farmers, and the seed area is reduced to reduce the waste of seedlings.
3. Although high-quality oilseed rape Huyou 15 cultivation accounts for a large proportion, it has not been universally popularized, and it is necessary for farmers to pay attention to the selection of fine varieties.
