At the AQUATECH CHINA2010 Holland International Water Show China Show held last week, Shanghai Aooshi Smith exhibited for the first time a new generation of lateral flow home reverse osmosis membrane elements. This reverse osmosis membrane element can reduce waste water discharge by 50%, with a salt rejection rate of up to 98% and a diaphragm utilization rate of 85% to 90%. Compared with the traditional process, the water yield of the device using this membrane element can be increased by 10% to 15%, and the service life of the pretreatment filter element can be extended by nearly 30%. The water dispenser with this patented technology will be fully available in the second half of this year.
