In addition, vehicles have made great progress in reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The energy consumption of vehicles is mainly related to air resistance. Obviously, aerodynamic technology will be very attractive to people's attention.
Wissmann pointed out that another theme at this show is autonomous driving technology, which will be an important advancement for the automotive auxiliary system and will also face enormous technical challenges. After 2020, autonomous driving technology will begin to be popularized in specific areas, while autonomous driving in the commercial vehicle sector will be a new opportunity.
In addition, Wissmann also expressed concern about the development of the Russian commercial vehicle market. Recently, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the change in the value of the ruble have caused obstacles to the development of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Russia despite the different meanings of commercial vehicle business in Russia and commercial vehicle business in Western Europe.
