Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd. has introduced an improved product of the 250t crawler crane, the CKE7250-2. By increasing the counterweight from 100t to 110t, the maximum load torque is increased by 15% from 1018tm for CKE 7 2 5 0 to 1177tm for CKE7250-2. With the new longer and stronger main and jib arms, increased load torque will greatly increase the lifting performance.
The longest main arm is 91.4m, and the longest main boom and boom combination is 61+61m. The new components allow for more configuration of the main boom and, for ease of transport, this part of the main and jib are designed to be “built-inâ€. Although increasing the counterweight will increase the load capacity, the total weight of the machine is reduced from 219t to 208t, down 11t. The main machinery (upper and lower) weighs 45t and is 3.4m wide.
In addition, the two track assemblies (100mm longer than the previous models) weigh 2t each and can be carried by a trailer. The weight portion has been designed to be the same thin plate that can be transported with the main arm portion.
