The newly launched pcDuino3 Nano is now available for purchase at a price of just $39. The pcDuino3 Nano is powered by the Quan Zhi A20 SoC, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A7 dual-core processor that supports 1GB of memory, combined with OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenVG 1.1, and the Mali 400 dual-core graphics.
The mini PC also includes 4GB of flash memory and a microSD card slot, which can expand storage up to 32GB when needed. Video output is provided through the HDCP support HDMI 1.4 interface. The minicomputer is also equipped with an Arduino slot that provides the same form of Arduino UNO development board: 14 GPIOs, 2 PWMs, 6 ADCs, 1 UART, 1 SPI and 1 I2C. And 1Gbps Ethernet and 3.5mm analog audio input and output interfaces.
pcDuino3 Nano is a high-performance, cost-effective single-board computer. It runs an operating system such as Ubuntu Linux and Android. pcDuino3 Nano has a graphical desktop screen with HDMI output. It can support multi-format 1080P 60fps video and 1080p 30fps H.264 and MPEG4 video encoders with its built-in hardware video processing engine. Its goal is especially the rapidly growing demand from the open source community. pcDuino3 provides an easy-to-use toolchain that is compatible with popular Arduino ecosystems, such as Arduino shields.
