Saving energy and reducing carbon emissions are currently the focus of the automotive industry. The Pierburger company, which is part of the KSPG Group, has developed a multi-channel valve adapter that reduces the harmful substances. The use of this adapter in a supercharged diesel engine results in an optimum intake temperature, which improves combustion and restores the particulate filter to its original state. The electric circulating air thrust valve developed by the company has also become the preferred component of supercharged engines. The company's newly launched wastegate electric actuator new product solution is being optimized for mass production in cooperation with engine and turbocharger manufacturers.
To enable variable valve control for diesel, commercial vehicles, and natural gas engines, KSPG has developed a new "FlexValve" valve control system whose modular components provide good integration and upgrade possibilities for existing engine platforms. Purely mechanical, high operational safety and low friction "UniValve" valve systems offer great potential for reducing engine fuel consumption and improve start-up performance of forced-ignition engines.
