Recently, the international auto parts supplier German Continental Group delivered a very special infotainment system to its customer Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Germany: the 1 millionth radio navigation system 510 (abbreviation: RNS510).
It is understood that the first RNS510 was introduced in 2007 and was equipped with a DVD drive, a 30GB hard disk drive, and an SD memory card slot. During the navigation process, various POIs (points of interest) on the electronic map can be stored and integrated into the travel guide.
Currently, the device has introduced models for China, Japan and North America, and its functions can be controlled by sound. In addition to most commonly used European languages, the navigation system also understands Chinese and Japanese.
