Due to the different types of graphite ore, the industrial requirements are different. The crystal flake graphite has good selectivity and low requirements on the ore grade. Generally, the industrial grade can be achieved at 2.5% or more. However, due to poor selectivity, cryptocrystalline graphite has high requirements on the ore grade, and generally requires more than 65-80% to be directly utilized.
At present, the general industrial requirements for graphite deposits in China are shown in Table 1.
