It will determine whether anti-dumping will continue to be effective, and whether its success or failure will affect the return of the enterprise and its products to the local market.
According to the provisions of the Uruguay Round negotiations, after five years of anti-dumping duties, the United States must abolish this taxation order unless the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission consider that the cancellation of anti-dumping duties will lead to a repeat of dumping or continue to cause damage to U.S. industry.
At present, the United States imposes an anti-dumping duty rate of 35.06% to 182.90% on the companies involved in China's exports of carbon steel buttwelding pipe products to the United States.
Despite recent signs of economic recovery in the United States, its trade protectionism has continued unabated. Since the beginning of this year, the United States has successively initiated trade remedy procedures for China’s exports of US oil drill pipes and drill collars, magnesium products, and flooring.
