Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share what happened last Saturday night in Dekalb. There was a fire at a two-story commercial building located at 201 N 6th Street. The first floor housed a deli and bakery, which is where the fire originated. It was quite intense, with a lot of smoke filling the area, but the firefighting crew did an amazing job of containing it quickly. They managed to get it under control before it could spread further.
The fire was escalated to a second alarm, but only the box alarm companies were utilized for support. Overall, it was handled really well by everyone involved.
