The Lockport Township Fire Protection District called for a second alarm MABAS unit today due to a structure fire at a shopping center located on Theodore Street near Plainfield Road. The fire was reported in the end unit of the center, which is currently undergoing renovation. It's worth noting that an Eagle Super Market used to occupy this space before its recent closure.

Firefighters are working hard to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby businesses. The situation remains under control, but crews are still on scene conducting overhaul and monitoring the area. No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
