Ginkgo biloba is a tree species that is of great economic value. However, temperature is the main limiting factor in the distribution of Ginkgo biloba. Previous studies on physiology of resistance to cold and heat of Ginkgo biloba were limited. Therefore, this study is beneficial to the protection of tree species and the development of ginkgo drug effects. It is of great significance to protect the ecological environment. For this study, it is generally necessary to use an artificial climate box for climate control to better conduct research experiments.

In the artificial climate box, set the different temperature conditions (temperature range 1-1 43 °C) including high temperature and low temperature stress conditions, experimentally measured the ion permeability, superoxide dismutase activity (SOD), peroxide of Ginkgo biloba leaves The relationship between enzyme activity (POD), proline, and malondialdehyde (MDA) content was studied. The cold resistance and heat resistance of Ginkgo biloba were studied to understand the changes in cold resistance and heat resistance and to detect ginkgo Cold and heat resistance physiological indicators.

Through the temperature setting of the artificial climate chamber and the observation and analysis of the research samples, it was found that the temperature below zero or above 43°C caused serious damage to the plants. In particular, when the temperature was treated at 43°C for 4 hours, the ginkgo leaf appeared severe wilting. Conductivity greater than 50%, visible plant tissue cells caused severe damage under high temperature damage, a large number of intracellular material extravasation. After 16 h treatment at 45°C, the plants died completely. The temperature of about 3 °C was treated for 4 h, and its relative conductivity and 5 °C also had obvious changes. From the experimental results, the difference in relative conductivity can better reflect the cold and heat resistance of Ginkgo biloba, and the temperature adaptation range of Ginkgo biloba species is around 5~35°C.
