This message is from Larry Shapiro:
"Earlier this morning, I witnessed quite an incident near my place involving a motor vehicle accident with reports of entrapment. It seems the car lost control in Buffalo Grove and ended up crashing into Wheeling. Interestingly, the Wheeling emergency teams were the first to arrive and managed the transport operations.
The car veered off the road and smashed into a recently installed fence on the sidewalk, completely destroying a large section of it. Along the way, it also knocked down one tree and narrowly missed several OTHERS—either bouncing off them or somehow navigating between them. Contrary to initial reports, there wasn't any entrapment involved.
I’ve attached some pictures from the scene below for reference."

It’s always shocking to see such incidents unfold so close to home, especially when you consider how quickly things can go wrong on the roads. Thankfully, the responders acted swiftly, and I hope everyone involved is okay."
