Hey everyone,
Just got some updates from my feed. First off, Dan McInerney sent over some cool photos and details from a training session involving members of the 13th Battalion near the 4000 block of West End, just west of 95’s place. It looks like there were quite a few units involved—E95 and 113, along with T26 and T14—under the supervision of the 13th Battalion focusing on roof operations. T26 had their main ladder raised, while T14 set up a 40-foot ladder on the west side of the house. You can see some members of T26 already on the roof in the background. Definitely a great practice session! Here's one of the photos Dan took showing Chicago Tower Ladder 14 in action.

Switching gears, Kevin Griffin shared some exciting news about a new piece of equipment for Tinley Park. They’ve just acquired an all-terrain brush unit, which is a fantastic addition to their fleet. Kevin managed to snap a quick pic of it, and it looks impressive. I’m sure this will be a game-changer for them when it comes to tackling tough terrain during emergencies.

Lastly, Martin Nowak sent over some awesome footage and snaps from Roberts Park Fire Protection District’s annual Santa run through Justice. He mentioned that this tradition was originally started by the Justice Fire Department. Looks like they’re keeping the spirit alive! I’ll make sure to share the videos once they're live, but for now, here’s a sneak peek. Tomorrow, they’ll be doing the same thing in Hickory Hills. Super cool to see these departments spreading holiday cheer!
