In the process, after six consecutive days of operation, the hoisting of five key structures was successfully completed, and the “rushing number” of the self-elevating platform docking and commissioning work was blown, and two new records were set.
The five key structures for the H1288 project include cantilever beams, drill stands, derricks, and helicopter platforms and legs 334. These key structures have large tonnages and different shapes. The heaviest cantilever beam has a total weight of about 1,661 tons, which is extremely demanding in terms of safety and precision control during the lifting process. The hoisting engineering of this series is complicated. Among them, the process of using the floating crane to hoist the total structure of the cantilever beam is the first in China. At the same time, the lifting of the gross tonnage has also created a new record for the hoisting tonnage of the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company.
At 6 o'clock in the morning on September 8, the No. 5 armored terminal of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. began to get busy. The main section of the cantilever beam with a length of 56.246 meters, a width of 18.269 meters and a height of 12.04 meters began to be hooked. After a series of lifting and floating crane shifting work, it was carried out with the cooperation of the through-cylinder and the 2,500-ton floating crane. Hours of work, this "big monster" was hoisted in the early hours of the 9th. At 7:00 on the 9th, the floating hook was removed and the cantilever beam was hoisted. The cantilever beam is one of the most critical operating areas of the entire JU-2000E jack-up platform drilling system and is the modular product with the highest armor integrity. The other four key structures successfully completed the lifting task from 9 to 13 days. At noon on September 9, the structure of the drill floor was hooked and the cantilever beam was successfully hoisted at 21:20 that evening. Drilling platform segmentation is the central operation control center of the entire drilling operation. It integrates functions such as automation operation, control, monitoring, communication, and remote accident diagnosis. Its smooth lifting is of great significance. On the afternoon of September 10, the floating hoist slowly lifted the derrick from the bottom of the dock at No. 2, until the early morning of the 11th, the iconic derrick of the rig was successfully hoisted on the rig. The derrick, which is about 63.95 meters high and weighs 390 tons, stands firmly on the rig, marking the completion of the critical and core large structural components of the drilling system including the cantilever beam and the rig floor. In the early morning of September 12, the helicopter platform was successfully docked with the main hull living building, and was successfully decoupled after 24 hours of positioning and welding. In the early morning of September 13, after the helicopter platform was unhooked, the floating crane succeeded in successfully loading the pile legs 334 into the drilling platform, marking the successful completion of the lifting of the five key structures. According to reports, this is also the first time that Shanghai Waigao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. used floating cranes to hoist the pile legs at the dock, which provided valuable experience for completing the hoisting work of the subsequent four legs.
