On July 10, 2008, the 2008 China Auto Service Brand Star Rating Award Ceremony sponsored by the China Automotive News was grandly held at the Shiji Jinyuan Hotel in Beijing. Representatives from over 30 mainstream automobile companies from China attended the event. The current event was strongly supported by the Gu'an Industrial Park.
The purpose of the Chinese automobile service brand star rating campaign is to promote service brand awareness, disseminate modern service concepts, and demonstrate automotive service quality. The selection of service brand stars is based on the principle of seeking truth from facts, high standards and strict requirements. After a series of selections, this award-winning enterprise is finally determined. The selection activities included five Mercedes-Benz Daimler Chrysler vehicles, FAW Toyota, Chery (parameter configuration library), Brilliance, Great Wall, Sichuan Classic, and Wuhu Yaxia, and other 15 service brand five-star companies, as well as Dongfeng. Honda, Chongqing Changan Suzuki, Hafei and other 20 service brand four-star enterprises.
In this election, a total of 15 companies have won five-stars, which has been greatly improved compared to previous years.
