I. Overview

China's multi-cylinder Xiaochai (≤ 4 cylinders) 80% for vehicles, 18% for the construction of agricultural machinery units, and the rest for power generation and other purposes.

Second, the 2008 national single-cylinder diesel engine production and sales all the way down

In the first quarter of 2008, the four leading companies with an annual production and sales equivalent of ≥700,000 units in the single-cylinder machine industry were flat, Changchai, Changfa and Jiangdong experienced a year-on-year decline, and production fell by 2.2 percentage points from 997,923 units in the same period of last year. In the first three quarters of 2008, the above-mentioned 22 companies produced 4,404,708 single-cylinder diesel engines and sold 4,402,724 units, a year-on-year ratio of 5,869,194 units and 600,941 units, a year-on-year decrease of 25 percentage points and 26.8 percentage points. In the first three quarters of 2008, a total of 19 companies, including three-ring, Sifang, and Taichai, which are mainly export-oriented, produced 4,092,960 units and sold 4,110,181 units. The year-on-year ratio was 55,666,515 units and 5,722,504 units respectively. The output decreased by 26.5 percentage points year-on-year, and the sales volume decreased by 28.2 percentage points, which was higher than the average of 22 companies.

The 4 leading companies in the industry all showed a downward trend in 2008. Production and sales of more than 100,000 units of Amico, Changgong, Changlin, Rugao, Laidong, Changtong, Sanhuan, Sifang, Liankai, and Emei 10 produced a total of 1,563,693 units and sold 1,586,667 units. In the first three quarters of 2007, the year-on-year ratios were 2,073,717 units and 2,261,265 units, which represented a year-on-year decrease of 24.59 percentage points, and sales volume decreased by 26.59 percentage points, slightly lower than the 22 declining averages.

A total of 7 companies with less than 66,000 units produced a total of 302,679 units and sold 325,438 units in the first three quarters of 2008. The output decreased by 57.85 percentage points year-on-year, and the sales volume dropped by 57.04 percentage points, which was more than double the number of statistical companies listed. .

Among the 28 major single cylinder manufacturers, the production concentration in 2007 accounted for 91.5% of the total industry volume. Considering that the decline of small enterprises was greater than the average value of listed companies in 2008, the total production and sales of single cylinder diesel engines in 2008 was about 6.25 million units in 2007. Year-on-year 8.65 million units decreased by about 28%.

Combined with 22 companies in the first quarter of 2008, the first half of 2008, and the first three quarters of 2008, the following 6 cumulative statistics not included in the first quarter, first half, and first three quarters of Table 1 are included. Recalling that in 2008, only 6 of the 28 companies listed in Table 1 increased their sales in the year-on-year period, falling more than the year-on-year increase. The sales of 22 companies decreased by 2,084,001 units year-on-year, which is 12.54 times that of the 6 companies’ sales increments (166,258 units). The situation is undoubtedly unprecedented compared with 2006.

Among the 28 companies, 6 companies whose sales increased year-on-year were ranked according to the increments: Wuxi Kama, Changfeng, Yanmar (Japan-funded), Jintanyi, Quandong, and Xinbinhu.

One of the reasons is that the export drive is the adaptation of varieties and the quality advantage.

In the general trend of international economic crisis, the ups and downs of companies and the decline in production and sales cannot be considered as heroes. The industry leader is still tied for the times with Changfeng, Changchai and Changfa. In addition, the production concentration of Kongjing’s four major diamonds has a market share of five years. In the middle, it experienced a gradual decline from above 56% to around 47%. This shows that the trend of multi-cylinder adjustments in these companies' products and the relative fixed relationship between the size of the company's market share.

In 2008, the variety declared by the company was not complete, so the situation was not yet clear throughout the year. According to the statistics of non-S series products, only 28 companies, namely Shi Feng, Lai Dong, Taian, Yanmar, and Sida Non-production of non-95 or more products, the remaining 23 companies are producing 95 products below the bore, these companies in 2008 non-S series total sales of 2,226,134 units in the total sales of 28 companies 5922937 units, lower than the 2007 industry statistics. III. Production and sales of multi-cylinder small diesel engines in 2008

In 2007, the production concentration of multi-cylinder Xiaochai industry in China accounted for 83.5% of the total industry volume, and the market share accounted for 83.2% of the total industry volume.
