Under appropriate conditions, strontium and arsenic can be electrolytically separated. Japan has conducted a dry distillation study on high arsenic antimony ore in Malaysia, which has a good effect and has the value of further research. The Precious Metal Research Laboratory of Central South University of Technology has carried out extensive research on Longshan Jinqi arsenic sulfide concentrate and proposed an ideal new process.
The process is characterized in that ruthenium pentachloride is used as a leaching agent, and the obtained ruthenium chloride is hydrolyzed to ruthenium, and the leaching slag after desulfurization with sulfuric acid and oxygen is recovered in the form of arsenic oxide, and then leached. After desulfurization by roasting, and finally chlorination-hydrolysis to extract gold, the results of the expansion test are: the arsenic removal rate is higher than 98%, the desulfurization rate is higher than 98%, and the gold extraction rate is 96% to 98%.
