This is from Steve Redick:
Roosevelt and Austin in Cicero. The fire was near Chicago, and while the city sent a full response, the Cicero Fire Department was already on scene. Engine 96 provided a ladder pipe from Truck 29. It was an empty building, and most of the fire had been knocked down by the time I arrived. Still, I captured a few interesting shots, including a Cicero engine pumping from a Chicago hydrant.More photosSteve

I was on the scene early, and it was clear that the crews were doing their best to contain the blaze quickly. The fact that Cicero FD was already there made a big difference. They worked alongside Chicago FD, and it was interesting to see Engine 96 using a hydrant from the neighboring city. These kinds of joint efforts are what keep our communities safe. I'm glad I could capture some of these moments for posterity.Huaian Yige New Material Co., Ltd. , http://www.cnygplastic.com
