British company will build bioethanol plant

According to a recent report by the US Chemical Week, Blue Ocean Associates, headquartered in London, England, plans to invest approximately 90 million euros ($108 million) in a new bioethanol production plant in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

It is reported that the device will use 375 thousand tons of grain as raw material each year to produce 110,000 tons of ethanol and 120,000 tons of feed. Ethanol will be blended into gasoline to produce ethanol gasoline containing 5% bioethanol and 95% gasoline. It is expected that the device will be completed and put into production in 2007.
