Small and medium-sized wind turbine companies explore new roads

Recently, a reporter learned from the Fan Branch of the China General Machinery Industry Association that the branch has been actively promoting independent innovation and developing products tailored to market needs, thereby driving the rapid growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the wind turbine industry. To further support this development, the Fan Branch recently organized a seminar on the growth of SMEs in the fan industry in Guiyang. At the event, Zou Fanglin, Deputy Director of the Wind Turbine Division, delivered a presentation titled "Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Fan Industry." Shi Xuesong, Secretary of the Wind Turbine Division, gave an insightful keynote speech discussing the current status, existing challenges, and future trends within the fan industry. Delegates engaged in an energetic discussion, sharing perspectives on how to better support the growth of small and medium-sized wind turbine companies. Most participants emphasized that innovation is the core of sustainable development for SMEs. They highlighted that only through continuous technological advancement and product innovation can companies meet evolving market demands, expand their market share, and achieve long-term success. Those firms that lack unique offerings and rely solely on price competition, they warned, will eventually struggle and may be phased out by the market. Representatives from several leading companies also shared their experiences. Li Mingxian, Chairman of Beijing Huayi Purification Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Chen Zhicheng, General Manager of Zhejiang Dafeng Blower Electric Co., Ltd., and Lu Weilin, Management Representative of Beijing Jingfeng Ventilation Equipment Factory, presented on their respective strategies for scientific and technological innovation and business development. In his closing remarks, Vice Chairman Zou Fanglin reiterated that innovation is the key driver for SME development. He stressed that brand building is essential for company growth, quality remains the foundation of any successful enterprise, and effective management ensures long-term stability. His insights were widely supported by all attendees, who left the meeting with renewed motivation and a clearer vision for the future of the industry.
