Zhejiang launches special metering supervision and inspection of private water meters and gas meters

At the same time, 246 gas meters were not qualified before use, and the inspection rate was 97. %the above. In addition, 6.9% of the civilian water meters and 2.8% of the gas meters were sampled after they exceeded the service life.

In this spot check, the mandatory test coverage and pass rate of private water meters and gas meters in Shaoxing City and Taizhou City of Zhejiang Province all reached 100%.

This shows that the measurement and management capabilities of water meters and gas meters in Zhejiang are continuously improving. At the same time, in view of the insufficient replacement rate of water meters and gas meters, the staff urged the water supply units to upgrade their water meter and gas meter installation capabilities to ensure accurate measurements.
