New mobile command center for Naperville

From LDV.com: We recently delivered a state-of-the-art mobile command center to the City of Naperville, Illinois. This vehicle is built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a 33,000 GVWR, powered by a 360HP Cummins L9 diesel engine and an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission. The all-aluminum body includes two custom-built flat-floor slide-outs, providing extra space for operations. It also features the Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system, making it easy to control various functions from one interface. The exterior includes an external charging station, a durable workstation, and Extreme Duty storage compartments. A non-locking rear pneumatic mast was installed along with perimeter surveillance cameras. To ensure stability during emergency response, a vehicle leveling system is in place. A TriMark keyless entry system with remote RF transmitters allows secure access, while Whelen emergency lighting enhances visibility at the scene. A custom pull-out aluminum stair cassette provides safe and easy access into the vehicle. Inside, the front area offers café-style seating for staff, with fixed, in-house manufactured seats. Magnetic dry erase boards are mounted on the side walls, and a 55-inch high-resolution monitor is mounted on the front wall, along with two 32-inch monitors for additional viewing options. In the center of the vehicle, there's a large electronics rack and a closet with adjustable shelving. Magnetic soft-close pocket doors provide privacy when needed. The rear conference room includes a central table with six spider base task chairs, and a curbside rear slide-out houses two additional workstations. A 65-inch high-resolution monitor is mounted on the streetside wall, and a 55-inch Vibe smartboard with a conferencing camera is installed on the rear wall. The HVAC system consists of three low-profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostats and two direct discharge diesel-fired furnaces. A powerful 20kW liquid-cooled diesel generator ensures a steady power supply. A full surge suppression system protects all the sensitive electronics, and a Will-Burt Night Scan LED telescoping light tower is also installed. Four perimeter IP cameras provide comprehensive surveillance. An Extron 4K 16×8 video matrix switcher manages all video sources, ensuring seamless integration of multiple inputs. This mobile command center is designed to support emergency management and communication needs efficiently and effectively.
