On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 9:01 PM, the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District received a call about a fire alarm activating at 4711 St. Joseph Creek Road in Lisle. When crews arrived, heavy flames and smoke were already visible, prompting an immediate upgrade to a structure fire. After a full assessment, four units within the building were found to be uninhabitable due to extensive smoke and water damage. One resident from the unit where the fire originated was taken to Edward Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported among residents or emergency responders.

The fire is currently under control, and investigators are working to determine the cause. Residents are advised to remain cautious and stay informed through official channels.
