**Installation Instructions:**
1. Clean the shaft, bore, and outer surface of the bushing, as well as the hub bore (if the bushing is already assembled, remove it first). Remove any oil, lacquer, or dirt. Place the bushing into the hub and align the half-holes to form complete holes (each hole will be threaded on one side only).
2. Apply oil to the threads and the point of set screws, or to the under-head area of cap screws. Loosely insert the screws into the holes that are threaded on one side of the hub.
3. Ensure the bushing moves freely within the hub. Slide the assembly onto the shaft and position it as needed.
4. Tighten the screws alternately and evenly until they are all pulled up tightly. Use a piece of pipe on your wrench to increase leverage. Please refer to the recommended torque values for taper bushing screws.
5. If using a stall key, place it in the shaft keyway before installing the taper bushing.
6. After running the drive under load for a short time, stop and check the tightness of the screws. Fill the remaining holes with grease to prevent dirt and debris from entering.
