On November 5, 2005, the Dagang Oilfield Company's Oil Production Plant successfully implemented a sewage pump system. This innovative solution allowed crude oil that was previously discharged from the separator to be reintroduced into the main oil pipeline. As a result, it effectively addressed the issues of crude oil loss and environmental contamination caused by waste discharge.
The sludge lift pump is designed with a compact structure, low noise levels, stable performance, high efficiency, and a fully enclosed housing. It is installed behind the metering room and can process up to 6 cubic meters of crude oil per hour when operating at full capacity. Once processed, the crude oil is returned to the system pipeline, eliminating the need for traditional oil sumps. This not only reduces energy waste but also minimizes the risk of environmental pollution. The implementation of this system marked a significant step forward in improving operational efficiency and environmental sustainability within the oil production facility.
